New Hope Manor is committed to offering high quality,
research-based substance abuse treatment services to women, pregnant women,
adolescents and mothers with infants.
-------------------------------------
To support a lifestyle free from addiction to alcohol and other
drugs:
We offer a program designed to promote greater self-awareness, self-respect,
and self-worth, as well as promoting a better ability to care for oneself
and to enter into positive relationships with others.
We are committed to offering services that are sensitive to the individual
needs of each woman, including issues surrounding cultural identity, religion
and sexual orientation.
Through integrating educational and vocational programming into treatment,
we strive to empower each woman to become financially self sufficient upon
re-entering the community.
New Hope Manor works to strengthen families, including the mother-infant
bond for those women with infants in our program, and to actively involve
family members in the treatment process whenever possible.
Respecting the dignity and uniqueness of every woman who seeks our
help, New Hope Manor strives to enhance the personal growth and development
of those served.
UNIQUE ASPECTS
OF NEW HOPE MANOR
Our program is unique for several reasons:
-
We accept only women
- New Hope has served women, including pregnant women and adolescents, for more than 30 years. The unique needs of women often go unmet in male dominated coed programs. At New Hope, meeting these needs is our specialty.
We respect the dignity of each client
- Our research based approach is motivational, rather than confrontational. New Hope respects each women as an individual with unique needs, and every effort is made to match program offerings to these individual needs.
We address more than just substance abuse
- Long lasting, quality sobriety is best achieved by treating a human being rather than a diagnosis. New Hope offers program tools to develop personality characteristics and basic life skills that help make long term, high quality sobriety a reality for our clients.
